Military Sensing Symposium - Dr. Perconti was elected in 2013 to the Senior Executive Service. He holds a Doctor of Science degree from George Washington University. He is a Federal Laboratory Consortium Laboratory Director of the Year and is the Northeastern Maryland Technology Council Visionary Leader.
He is a Technical Fellow of the Military Sensing Symposium Dr. Perconti publishes on many aspects of military sensing, machine learning, and countermine/counter IED technology. He has authored and co-authored over 50 publications, including three book chapters.

Erconti is the head director of ARL Sensors & Electron Devices. He is responsible for leading and transitioning the Army's core basic and applied research programs in sensors, electronics, sensor information processing, and power and energy technologies.
In addition, he leads ARL's S&T campaign for materials research. His duties include the operation of unique electronics and photonic materials fabrication and characterization facilities. He initiated major Army research initiatives in quantum information sciences and artificial intelligence.
Dr. Daniel Lemaster, a technical advisor in the AFRL Sensors Directorate division, and Dr. Barry Karch, a branch chief in the AFRL Sensors Directorate, was selected as an MSS Fellow for his technical contributions and leadership to the military sensing community and the impact of their work on national defense.
